Co-Captain / Manager | Shane Taylor | South African
BIO: Captain Shane has dedicated decades of his life to his greatest passion of the ocean and has proven himself as an outstanding captain, chartering all over the globe on various types of vessels.
Shane was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and began his career as a sail yachts captain, delivering yachts transatlantic. His maritime education was chartering yachts of all sizes in the Caribbean and eventually ventured to the Mediterranean where he discovered an unleashed potential on larger motor yachts. His yachting career portfolio now consists of an in-depth knowledge of the US East Coast, The Bahamas and Caribbean, Mediterranean and Southeast Asia. Besides being a competent and proficient seafarer, Shane is also a divemaster, watersports instructor and mixologist. Shane provides a comfortable, exciting but also safe environment on board which keeps his guests wanting to return to whichever vessel he captains.

Co-Captain / First Mate | Preston Moss | Bahamian
BIO: Preston began his maritime career working for the Bahamian defense force and royal navy. Being born and raised in Nassau, his knowledge and abilities throughout The Bahamas is limitless. Even though his background is military, he has evolved into a skillful and competent superyacht seafarer and prides himself on the safety and security of the vessel while also catering to guests needs and desires.
Preston also holds a captain license and many engineering credentials. He has warm and friendly presence and is always ready to offer his services.

Stewardess | Michelle Cronje | South African
BIO: Michelle is young and vibrant yet packs a big punch in skills over a short amount of time. She has assumed roles as au pair and graduated into hospitality from there. She has been working on yachts from 35-50m both private and charter, mostly in a seasonal capacity. Between jobs, Michelle has sharpened her skills in flower arranging, silver service, tablescapes and mixology. Guests will immediately feel Michelle´s attentiveness, organizational skills and creativity once aboard. She is truly a natural host.

Chef | Christina Harbison | American

Grand Diploma in Culinary Arts from The French Culinary Institute, NY (2006)
BIO: Experienced in many types of cuisine and adaptive to the culinary and dietary needs and wants of each individual, with genuine care. Christina has 12+ years experience as a mega yacht chef both, charter and private programs. She spent 5+ years as an estate manager/chef role for a lovely family in Jackson, WY. With a passion for using the best local organic ingredients, being a team player, working from scratch, maintaining a meticulously clean kitchen, being respectful to all crew, and fostering a positive environment, Christina is a dream to have aboard any yacht - C-Daze is lucky when they are able to work with her. Her extensive background in nutrition and wellness also fosters a healthy environment aboard.
One of Christina´s proud moments has been her award winning Farm to Table Food Truck business in Charlotte, NC. The small kitchen style mirrors a small galley of a yacht and yet she thrives to impress no matter the setting!
