Captain Rico and Chef Mathis
Meet Captain Rico van Rooyen, a South African captain whose sailing journey started in 2023. As a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster offshore he loves to sail and explore the water that surrounds him. His career is a testament to his dedication to excellence, with a focus on delivering top-quality service. Rico´s passion for sailing goes beyond the professional realm; it reflects his genuine connection to the ocean and the joy of sharing that experience with others. Growing up next to the water, Rico spent a lot of time on boats doing water sports where he gained vast knowledge in this area. This is where Rico found his love for being on the water and knew he would excel in this industry.
Embark on a culinary voyage aboard Infinity with Chef Mathis Chenavas. Mathis´s passion for French cuisine was ignited early on by his family´s rich culinary heritage. At 18 years of age, he mastered Italian cuisine at a prestigious restaurant in La Grande Motte. His adventurous spirit led him to explore Spanish, Caboverdian, and Caribbean flavors during a remarkable journey from the South of France to the Caribbean on his own boat. Now, combining his love for the sea and cooking, Mathis brings his creative and diverse culinary expertise to the yachting world. Yacht terms: All Inclusive
An all-inclusive charter covers all provisioning and running expenses. This includes a captain and crew that is fully trained and committed to your safety and enjoyment of your trip. A chef will provide the kind of exceptional, personalized meal preparation that you would expect of a five-star restaurant. LESS THAN 7 NIGHT CHARTER RATES: For 6-night charters, divide the weekly rate by 7 nights X 6 nights. For 5 nights or less, divide the
weekly rate by 6 nights X number of nights.
SLEEP ABOARD: 1/2 the daily rate. Dinner ashore at the client´s expense. Includes boarding after 5 pm, welcome cocktail, breakfast the
next morning, and early start.
LOCAL CHARTER FEES: Cruising permits & park fees included within the rates

XMAS: Flat rate of $23,000 for 2-6 guests and a 7-night minimum Must end no later than Dec 26th.

We are grateful you took us on as your last charter of the season. We hoped for a memorable vacation as a family before Kamyn left for college and you did not disappoint! This truly is the vacation one dreams about. The beauty of all the locations we visited has left me speechless. I do not even know where to start with how wonderful Rico and Mathis are. Both went above and beyond to make everything exceptional. Mathis wowed us each day with his stunning delicious meals. Rico warned us we would roll off this boat at end of the vacation and I believe that to be time. What a treat to have a french chef cookfor us daily. Rico fund the balance our family needed of quiet time and exploration. We hope to charter again with them someday!

The beautiful yacht, in its prestine condition was only part of the beauty of the experience because the journey was made perfect by the unimaginable competence and attention to detail with every possible aspect of the crew, Lucie and captain Rico, who spared no effort in making the journey over the top perfect. Every detail was thought through and they welcomed and cared for our family as if their own. In fact, we will welcome them to Newport as family, and only hope we can be a fraction as hospitable as they have been. Immense gratitude to you, both captain Rico and Lucie, and thanks to the owner for finding these two uniquely capable individuals to make this journey, carefree, and completely unforgettable.
