Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

We were on Catamaran Lino for a week in August this year. It was a very enjoyable experience. The skipper Euripidis was knowledgeable and kind, bringing out the water sports toys, which were included with the rental of the boat, to have some fun with the kids. Our hostess Jemma did a great job preparing delicious meals and keeping the cabins and communal spaces clean and tidy. The catamaran has a generous master cabin with large bathroom and two additional good sized other cabins with en-suites. Our skipper slept in the skipper room at the front of the boat and Jemma in one of the smaller cabins. Our kids shared the second cabin. We visited beautiful harbours and bays and didn´t have to worry about the itinerary, mooring or dinner reservations. Euripidis took care of everything. A catamaran offers more space and comfort than monohulls but the sailing experience is not the same. Generally I find that there is pretty little sailing going on on these charters but from our experience that is the same everywhere. Cavo were easy to deal with and seem to have a good fleet of boats.

After experimenting with two other companies in previous years, we can say that Cavo is by far the best. The boats are perfectly maintained and well equipped, and both our skipper Sebastien and our hostess Iris were excellent!!
