Description:
Captain Zafiris our experienced Captain, he brings 30 years of yachting expertise, holding a Master´s diploma A and a sailing license. He has skillfully navigated all the Archipelago on various yachts, including a decade on board M/Y Taka and previously on S/Y Onyx (100ft). His profound knowledge of Greek waters and islands makes every voyage memorable. Captain Zafiris leads our crew with excellent skills in communication and quality control at every level, ensuring your safety and enjoyment throughout the journey. Fluent in English, he is a dedicated family man with two children.

Position: Chief Engineer

Description:
Kostas is Chief Engineer on m/y TAKA since 2007, he graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a 1st Engineer Diploma. Kostas oversees M/Y Taka’s every technical matter, main engines, auxiliary machinery, and repairs. His technical prowess is complemented by all certifications, including life-saving, firefighting, ship security, and tanker safety. During his free time, Kostas indulges in spearfishing, freediving, and mountain biking. He´s a devoted husband, 45 years old, and dedicated to keeping m/y TAKA in prime condition.

Description:
Chef Vangelis embarked on his culinary journey 14 years ago after completing his formal chef studies. He began his career as a cook, honing his skills at some of the finest restaurants and hotels in Athens. Over the years, he transitioned into the yachting industry, further refining his expertise. Chef Vangelis is well-versed in European, Mexican, and Peruvian cuisine, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is excited to be a part of the M/Y Taka team, where he looks forward to delighting guests with his exceptional culinary creations.

Our Steward, Raymond, will greet you with a warm smile and ensure your every need is met with impeccable service and attention to detail. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he takes immense pride in creating unforgettable experiences for all guests on board. Focused and passionate, Raymond excels in organization and time management, always going the extra mile to pamper his guests.
His background blends tourism and service expertise, from his degree in Tourism and Hotel Management to certifications from The British Butler School and Oenophorum (Wines & Spirits Courses for Luxury Yachts and Aviation). Additionally, Raymond holds a WSPC Level 1 certification in Wine & Sommelier. With over 10 years of experience as a DJ and producer, Raymond is also skilled in curating the perfect onboard atmosphere, tailoring music to his guests´ tastes and ensuring that every moment is special.

Efstathios (Stathis), our reliable Deckhand, has been an integral part of M/Y Taka since 2004. Holding life-saving and firefighting certificates, he is well-versed in ensuring your safety at sea. Efstathios also holds a sailing license and speed boat license, making water activities like water skiing and exploring hidden coves a breeze. A family man with 3 children, Efstathios is 55 years old and brings a wealth of knowledge to your journey.

Taka Rates / week
The prices shown are for the entire yacht for a week-long (7 nights) charter.Low price: €35,500
High price: €38,500
The high and low prices of this yacht depend on both the number of guests and the traveling season. Send us an inquiry for exact pricing.
Yacht terms: Plus Expenses
The price includes a professional crew operating your chartered yacht, but all running expenses such as fuel, tax, provisions and any other costs are extra. Calculate between 15-25% for a sailing yacht and 25-35% for a motor yacht on top of the given rate with an APA cash payment made to the ships agent or captain, who will keep an open tap and produce full accounts of all expenditures. Unused APA money will be refunded. Inquire for more information.

For cruising the Aegean, Cyclades, Saronic Isles, Peloponnese (for any other area, please inquire on relocation)
High season: 38,500 €/week + VAT + only 20% APA (July - August)
Low Season: 35,500 €/week + VAT + only 20% APA (Other months)
