Camille Crew Profile
Captain
Captain Matthew Burns - Matt hails from Saint Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. As a French West Indian, farming and fishing has been a large part of life since birth. Matt started working on the water at 12, working the decks onboard his cousins´ commercial fishing boat whenever possible. By 16 he was running the deck of the commercial boats alone. He would fill in as the mate for any boat in the fleet as needed just to get out on the water more. At 22 Matt started running day charters in the US and British Virgin Islands. At 25 he moved to Los Angeles, CA and immediately started running larger multi-passenger vessels for fishing and booze cruises. Shortly after, he found his way into Yachting and has now been a Yacht charter captain for 8 years.
Mate Dimitry Nessburg - Dimitry was born and raised in southern Connecticut, the eldest child of Russian immigrants. An avid athlete growing up, he spent most of his summers as a boy sailing competitively all along the US northern Atlantic seaboard. After graduating from high school, Dimitry enlisted in the US Marine Corps Infantry and successfully completed 2 combat tours in Iraq & the Persian Gulf. After military service, he completed his studies at UConn and worked in manufacturing before relocating to South FL and entered the yachting industry in Spring 2015. Dimitry has worked on boats ranging in size from 38-74m, and has been fortunate enough to cruise the Mediterranean, Caribbean, eastern Canada, Central America, Alaska, South Pacific, and SE Asia. He enjoys all facets of boat life and the thrilling aspects of charter trips. He looks forward to lending his seasoned experience and passion for world-class service as the newest member of the Camille crew.
Chief Stewardess Stevi Gregorios - Stevi is from Long Beach, CA. Growing up a swimmer, she has always been attracted to the ocean. This lead her to the University of Hawaii, where she studied broadcast journalism and swam competitively. She also worked in several client facing roles in the hospitality industry; serving, bartending, and catering for 5 years. Upon her return to California is when her yachting career began. She worked high end charters in Marina Del Rey before diving into a full-time, live aboard position in 2018. Since then, she has had successful seasons in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Northeast & the Bahamas.
Being Chief Stewardess has taught her to lead by example, be flexible, and always expect the unexpected! Her competitive drive and passion to please others means she puts her heart into every trip. Whether it be for the new charter guest or the owners who have been onboard countless times, her goal remains the same… to give the guests the best experience possible with memories that will last a lifetime.
Deckhand/Stewardess - Briana Bolanos - Briana is from Charlotte, North Carolina, but moved to sunny South Florida when she was 19 years old. Growing up in a household with both parents from El Salvador, Briana was raised speaking both Spanish and English. Having dual languages definitely came in handy as she ventured to South Florida and began working in hospitality. Briana has always loved the ocean, but after a few land-based jobs in West Palm Beach over a few years she wanted to take her love for the sea to a new level. Briana has now been in the industry for 4 years which led to an unforgettable experience of crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Briana loves her career for a multitude of reasons, but most important is that she loves to make sure every single guest feels happy, welcomed and is enjoying their time onboard!
Chef Eli Pomerantz - Eli was born and raised in rural foothills of the Appalachian Mountains outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In his youth, he spent all his time outdoors or playing competitive lacrosse and wrestling. He began working in the culinary arts at just 15 while he was still just in 10th grade. His first job was in a fish market outside of Philadelphia where he learned to steam blue crabs and butcher whole fresh fish. After high school, Eli moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University where he studied Mechanical Engineering. To fund this endeavor Eli worked at some of Boston’s top restaurants after class. Upon finishing school, Eli worked in his educational field for just three months before receiving a job offer to run a restaurant in Cape Cod. He never looked back and has since worked as a chef in New York City and Philadelphia. Over the past 6 years Eli has traveled the world as a yacht chef on a variety of vessels. He specializes in cooking different cuisines from across the globe. You may even see him jump in the water with a spear to catch your lunch himself.

From Primary: Our family and I want to thank you for arranging our recent charter on Camille and helping us out on the details. Sending this e mail in hopes that you will also share it with crew and owners.
All in all, the 6 days were fantastic due to both the vessel and the crew. Camille was in excellent shape, and well designed for our family group. It looked good, was well-appointed, and immaculately maintained both initially and throughout out trip. Captain Matt Burns and his team couldn’t have done more for us. He, Martin, Stevi, Rachel and Brianna were more than attentive, and great with our two granddaughters as well. Always friendly, upbeat and cheerful. And Chef Eli was in a class of his own. He planned meals and themes well, improvised when needed due to things like the tastes of our grandchildren. His meals were easily comparable to (or exceeded) the best of the restaurants and clubs we go to. And he has a great ability to purchase the freshest and most tasty groceries, meats, seafood, and produce.
The seadoos and launch were always ready before we needed them. And Captain Matt arranged for top notch anchorage and dock locations.
Our very best, and thanks for all you did in smoothing out the process. Our entire family will have excellent memories of the trip.
From Primary´s Wife: Let me add my comments to my husband´s. This was the best family vacation we ever had. Everybody had a great time. The boat was gorgeous, luxuriously appointed, and perfect for our family. The crew was in a class by itself. Can´t imagine a better crew. Captain Matt kept the boat in pristine condition, and carefully steered us through harbors full of hundreds of other boats. He even went out to get pizza for our grandkids one night. Chef Eli´s food was in a class by itself: superb. One night he cooked a complete Indian dinner for us. Another night he baked a beautiful three-layer birthday cake for our granddaughter. We´re all spoiled now. Don´t know where we´ll ever find cuisine this good. Stevie was the den mother who kept everything together. First-mate Matt piloted the tender boat on sightseeing tours for us, and even helped us try fishing. Brianna was a fun and cheerful addition to the crew. She even created a custom cocktail for our son, Ted, called the ´Tedonator.´ Rachel completed the team; she was calm and professional, and did a beautiful job of decorating the back deck for our granddaughter´s birthday. All members of this crew knocked themselves out to please us, and we will miss them all. Please convey our comments to the owner of the Camille. Many thanks for putting this unforgettable trip together for us.

March 2024:
[Client] gathered everyone´s thoughts on their time aboard, and the consensus was off the charts – he mentioned, “a perfect score of 12 out of 10 from every guest!”
He had nothing but high praise for the team, giving a special shoutout to Captain Matt, Chef Eli, and Stevi for their outstanding work.
What really stood out to him was how attentive and well-coordinated the crew was, especially noting how impressed he was by the steward/deckhand´s skill with the tender.
Captain Matt, it´s clear you and your crew really put your hearts into your work. The experiences you all create are genuinely special.
