Unwavering is a luxury 50ft Sunreef sailing yacht, ideal for exclusive luxury getaways. Her clever bridge deck and superstructure design allows for a superior level of comfort onboard whereas the generous teak use, high bulwarks and classy lines underscore her modern style with a classic edge. Her saloon design creates a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience as it opens both onto the comfortable bow terrace and onto the yacht’s cockpit which is extended by a hydraulic aft platform creating a beach club. The hulls provide impressive volumes to set up a custom layout including airy, luxurious guest cabins and an opulent master suite with an immense bathroom. While housing the main helm, the large flybridge is definitely dedicated to leisure with more than enough space for 6 guests to enjoy, a fully-equipped wet bar and large sunpads. Multiple water toys including a e-foil and sea scooters provide endless entertainment for every water sport enthusiast. From snorkelling to exploring on a paddle board, you will find a wide variety of activities to enjoy your time on Unwavering. Captain Grant Surtees
Born and raised in Durban, on the east coast of South Africa, Grant lived around the water and mountains experiencing all aspects of the outdoors while growing up. Family vacations and weekends were spent taking part in water sports, fishing and riding off-road motorcycles.
Looking for opportunity elsewhere, he gravitated towards yachting. Having a strong background with water sports and boats he found no difficulty adapting to the new lifestyle which began in the South of France working on super yachts. He then made the move to the BVI working on catamarans and realized that the interactions with guests and being apart of something bigger, someone’s happiness and memorable moments was really what drove him.
Outside of yachting, Grant´s other passions are kitesurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing and golf. He looks forward to sharing those activities and stories with guests.
Chef / First Mate Ulrika Fredrikson
Ulrika was born in the northern part of Finland. As a child she would often go sailing with a family friend and was always fascinated by the sea. Every summer Ulrika spent months in the Swedish archipelago at her grandmother´s villa. Her grandmother grew everything herself: a variety of different food crops, vegetables, herbs, fruit and berries. Her grandmother hosted countless beautiful family feasts that brought the whole family together outdoors in her beautiful garden. Her grandmother’s cooking and lifestyle built the foundation to Ulrika´s interest in food and cooking at a young age.
While Ulrika was in high school, she went on an exchange year in Thailand where she spent the year living with a local family and learning about the culture and the language. During her time in Thailand she also fell in love with the local cuisine. Ulrika soon realized how much she loved traveling and exploring new places, cultures and cuisines. A lot of Ulrika’s cooking takes influences from Asian cuisines.
A few years later she got accepted into one of the world´s top ranking art universities in Helsinki, Finland to study product design. During these years she would often find herself catering for events, exhibitions and vernissages and always dreaming of and planning the next adventure. She moved to Stockholm, Sweden and ended up working in tech for some years. She longed for a change and decided to pick up her sailing skills and took a sailing course in Tenerife. After rediscovering her childhood dreams of sailing and falling in love with the sea all over again she decided to take a close friend´s advice and combine her love for the sea and cooking.

Grant and Ulrika met in the Bahamas while working on a yacht and Grant quickly swept her off her feet while sweeping the floors around her. Grant and Ulrika have teamed up and enjoyed experiencing the sweeter things of life while creating unforgettable memories for their guests. They have quickly become an inseparable team and a well oiled machine, working together seamlessly. They are excited to be on a journey together and looking forward to welcoming guests aboard Unwavering.

Christmas 2023
This has truly been one of the best trips we have ever been on as a family! Adam and Rosie went over and above to make it so special and fun, creating memories which we will cherish forever.
Rosie is an unbelievable chef and her dishes, apps and cocktails were the most delicious, from lamb to sea bass to grouper tacos every meal was perfect.
Adam was always making sure we had all the toys ready for ocean fun. The flite board, sea scooters and snorkelling were awesome.
Unwavering is gorgeous and our family is so blessed to have been able to spend Christmas week in the BVI with Adam and Rosie. We will definitely be back!!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were carefully and thoughtfully created with cuisines from around the world. Each menu was delicious and created to our individual dietary wishes. Rosie is Amazing! An all around wonderful vacation.

This has been a wonderful week on the beautiful Unwavering! We loved sailing and taking in the beautiful views! This was our first trip to the BVI and it was amazing. Adam & Rosie took such good care of us! The meals were absolutely incredible. The celebrations for Chris’ 60th birthday was phenomenal! We loved all of the activities on the islands. Thank you so much Adan & Rosie and we hope to see you soon.

We had the most incredible week sailing the BVI with our friends and Adam & Rosie. The sights and sailing were perfect and Rosie’s cooking was world class! Adam handled the seas and the other captains with great skill! This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken/ thanks so much! Sail on!

Where to even begin? The boat is stunning and every detail taken care of. The food & decor to the toys on the boat you can tell have been carefully thought of. Speaking of toys, the snorkel gear and specifically the fliteboard were the favourites of our group. We never wanted to be off the boat because of the comfort and enjoyability of the boat, we longed to be back on just hanging out when we did go to shore. Adam & Rosie pushed this trip over the top! Their care and attentiveness was incredible. Adam was constantly working to get us what we needed and cleaning up after us. Rosie was making magic in the kitchen each and every meal! The beauty in which she presented every meal was amazing! No vacation after this will ever compare. Easily the most amazing trip we have ever been on. Thank you for the hospitality.

´Unwavering: As you indicated, the vessel itself more than met our needs, and was new, well appointed, and ideal for a group of our size. There was one cabin adjacent to the eating area, which was a little bit awkward to access, but we learned that was normally the crew´s cabin which they had vacated, so that we could enjoy the full size bed in that cabin, in lieu of an alternate one which had bunk beds. No big deal.
The Crew: Adam and Rosie were amazing. Both have first class service skills, and were genuinely interested in ensuring we had a wonderful time. Adam served as Captain, dining room server, tender skipper and itinerary planner. Every evening he would have a map after dinner showing us where we had been that day, what the weather forecast was for the next day, and where we would be going. His selection of coves to spend the days and evenings in were idyllic and mesmerising. He did a fabulous job having all the water toys available the moment we anchored, and could not have been any more gracious in tendering us to land for activities. One day he even took us on a hiking trip (on Peter Island) so everyone could stretch their legs. Rosie served as the cook. I think we were caught off guard by the fabulous meals we had 3X a day, along with specialty cocktails and appetizers each day. Rosie also magically cleaned the cabins while we ate breakfast, threw a party that we all got invitations to on our cabin beds the last evening, and made first class gourmet meals. We learned that Unwavering is owned by ´ ´ and if by any chance you have their contact info., please share with them what stellar staff they have who take meticulous care of Unwavering. They treat the yacht as their own, and take tremendous pride in keeping it in A-1 shape. Adam and Rosie were so outstanding that the group decided to try to take another trip the year after next with them ( and Unwavering). The only thought for improvement is that the forms we completed ahead of time citing our food preferences were probably unnecessary inasmuch as Rosie had a healthy, well executed array of pre planned menus.
So that´s it in a nutshell!! Thank you again for everything. If you can stand us, we hope to be back at your doorstep in about 12 months making a new reservation! Best, RK”

What a fabulous week!! Unwavering is a spectacular boat with so many special touches everywhere (fluffy blankets, beautiful table settings, rainshowers!) Not surprisingly it was the people, Adam & Rosie, who made this a trip we’ll always remember. Incredibly knowledgable, so expert on all things sailing and unbelievably helpful, friendly and always ready to ensure we had what we needed before we even knew we needed it! Oh - and the food! Gourmet meals, fresh and so beautifully presented. Thank you to the owners for sharing your yacht & procuring the best crew ever! Thank you for the trip of a lifetime.

AMAZING! What can be said for the best ever Captain & Chef team in the BVI? Everything was perfection! The champagne & treats greeting, to every meal being a “photoshoot” and delicious. The crew was professional. Well organised, delightful to talk to. And worked constantly to ensure our trip was that of a lifetime. Unwavering is the best boat with every feature upscaled and beautiful! But, all exceptional boats need a Captain(s) with outstanding talents and Adam has what it takes. Truly the trip of a lifetime! The beauty, the comfort, the engineering/technology of this yacht is truly amazing - all of the extra special touches - toiletries, the decor, table settings - made us feel like treasured guests. Where do we begin? From the first welcome aboard to the final snorkel and flite board ride - and all of the simply AMAZING meals - it was absolute perfection! It is our 6th charter and quite simply the best by a mile! Rosie and Adam are as friendly, accommodating and professional as they come! The perfect pair for Unwavering! We will be back!!

What a special time spent on Unwavering! It was such a gift spending time with family on the beautiful waters of Turks & Caicos. Unwavering is awesome - such a beautiful boat - and Adam and Rosie are such a delight to be with! Rosie’s meals. Desserts and snacks were delicious and were works of art!!
